Bros.

My photo shoot with Sarah kinda gave me some inspiration. I took Joel and Caleb out and got some pictures of them too :) It was sorta the same style as Sarah's..just...boys instead of girls haha. It was good :)

 One of my favorites
I liked the out-of-focus look in this one.

I used my Polaroid for a prop in some of them :)

 Bros :)

So it was pretty good :) i never know how to end a post about pictures...or how to write them for that matter haha.

I have a dream....

lately, i've been thinking about bucket lists. What is a bucket list? It's a list of things you wish to do before you die. I have decided to create one :) There are different reasons to write a bucket list. They help to keep you from burying yourself in the flurry of life and to keep your eye on more important matters. It also sets a goal for yourself. If you don't have a goal, chances are you're not going to get there.

I mean, obviously, because if you don't have a goal then that goal doesn't  exist and you can't even BEGIN to head towards something that doesn't exist because you don't even know that it exists so how can you possibly ever get there if it isn't there in the first place.

whew.

this whole thing reminds me of the movie Tangled when they're all singing about their dreams. Love that movie.

Anyway. Back to my bucket list.

some things that i would like to do, but probably will never do (but NOTHING is impossible)
-Travel to every country in the world (not all at once of course...)
- see all the wonders of the world
-run a marathon
-go skydiving/ bungee jumping

-fly a hot air balloon

of course there are a bunch of others but i don't really have time to write them all out and i highly doubt that you would enjoy reading a list of things i would like to do but probably never will.

here's a list of things that are more likely to happen.
-run an 8k- i actually am thinking about running one this august for the ECSC...fun :)
-travel to at least 1 country. i mean, i'd rather go to two countries...or multiple countries. but one would be better than none. or perhaps not.
- learn a third language. i'm thinking about learning German in college.
-learn how to longboard/surf. It's so. much. fun.

- climb a mountain. i love mountains. i think, if i had the choice, i'd rather go to Tennessee than Hawaii.

the list goes on and on.

well, i shan't bore you any longer. These are some of my ideas. Hope i get around to completing them someday :)

Spring Break (my longest post EVER!)

Ahhh.....spring break. The one week in the middle of spring that gives you a taste of summer (if it's not too cold...i'll tell you about that later) and, perhaps, a boost of energy to get you through finals to summer. If not, it will probably make you miserable because you lost your freedom once again and summer seems way too far away. Pour Moi, I would prefer the first case.

Part of spring break that makes me not look forward to summer are the times when there's nothing to do. So, my plan, is to come up with a list of projects to keep me occupied when all my friends are busy or i can't go anywhere, so i don't spend all day on facebook. So far I have
  • get a job! -I reeeeaaalllly want to,  aaaaannnd... i'm working on it, just not sure if i can yet.
  • paint my room- my brothers had my room before i got it, and its painted this really bright boyish blue...not my taste
  • read- what i would like to do is get together a list of classic books (like, a lot) and find a nice little spot, the beach would be good, and just read and read and read and read and read. sounds nice :) (and better than sitting on facebook any day!)
  • art- I would like to take art classes next year, so i want to try my hand at painting and such :)
that's all i can think of at the moment. hopefully I'll think of more.

Anyway. Spring break. the first few days i didn't really do anything. Tuesday I went to the Botanical Gardens with the family (which is easier said than done, with two two-years-olds!) and then i went to my friend's house to hang out with a bunch of people. Wednesday I went to Daniella's and we went WERE going to go to the beach, but it was WAY too cold.  Then we were going to go see a movie. We walked all the way there, and it was SOLD OUT! But all was well. we still had a great time (you know you're best friends when you can do practically nothing but still have a blast) we ended up going on a walk to the park in the frigid temperature and took some pictures :)
I think this one's my favorite :)
Afternoon walk to the movies <3
love her!
Thursday I went to Liz, Cat, and Hannah's house :) First, we stopped at 7-11 and got some sour patch kids and Arizona Tea (the best!). Then we sat on the dock and just talked. It was so fun :)
yes :)

the river
photo credit goes to Cat :)
there were a lot more pictures by the way :)

Friday I went to a surprise party for a friend, then Saturday I had Softball. we lost. by a lot. But it was still fun :) i was there from 8:30-2:30 because of my brothers' games though and got burnt to crisps (say that with a lisp- it's really fun, trust me), then had another party. Sunday I had 316 (AKA youth group).

In a nutshell, I would say it was a great spring break :)
