the Impossible Project

a few months ago, I purchased a 1996-ish Polaroid Camera from a thrift store (if you're looking for an instant camera, ALWAYS check the thrift store first.)

For a long time it has been a dream of mine to be able to go around and take pictures and have them instantly print before my eyes. This is finally possible. Before I bought it, I looked up how much film cost on Amazon.com, and it can be REALLY expensive! but then, I found the impossible project. It's a company that still makes film for Polaroid Instant Cameras! I was thrilled :) now all i have to do is buy some :) can't wait

the reason I wanted one so bad, is because I love the vintage-ish look that the pictures have. Sometimes when people edit their pictures to look old, they become too perfect. with these cameras, you don't have to edit in the old-fashioned look, it's already there.

not that i have anything against digital cameras. I think they're incredible. I want to buy a really nice one sometime. Once I get a job I'll have to stock up on instant film and buy a nice camera. Sounds good to me :)
