basketball practice...well...sort of....

Since Monday was a holiday, we didn't have basketball practice. Instead, I had some friends from the team over to practice at my house. Well, long story short, we got a little sidetracked.....

we we went on a walk and started taking pictures (which, by the way, is something i love to do, especially with Daniella, but she wasn't there <sad face> ). Here are the ones that turned out the best:

Sunday Afternoons

     Sunday afternoons are the best time to just relax. My Sunday afternoon consisted of snuggling on the couch with the sun shining through the window while trying to figure out my macbook. I got it for Christmas and have yet to figure out all the things it can do. It is very different to the PC I am used to using. Haha and oh boy do I have a while to go in understanding it all :)

     Martin Luther King Jr. day is tomorrow and I hope everyone has a great break. We can never forget what he did and how he changed the way we live. I will be spending my day studying for midterms, as it's that time of year. It just reminds me of how I can't wait for summer!

Rainy Days

So, I’m not gonna lie, I love rainy days like this. Although I would prefer snow,  there’s just something about it that makes you want to curl up on the couch with your favorite blanket and pillow and watch Pride and Prejudice or read a good book. 

But, if you don’t like Pride and Prejudice or you hate reading, you can always write an old-fashioned letter to a dear friend and send it by “snail mail.” It can actually be quite refreshing and fun. Sometimes we don’t have time to talk about all the things that are on our minds. Also, when you take the time to write out and really think about your problems, you might end up solving  some of them yourself.
